
Nadia Niazi
Nadia Niazi is the Founder and Executive Director of Fitrah, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering system-involved youth in Sacramento County through paid job training and comprehensive advocacy programs.
A graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Science degree, Nadia is passionate about fostering equity and inclusion across educational and social systems. She regularly presents to school districts across the region, delivering professional development sessions through CREATE-PD that enhance cultural responsiveness and equip educators to better support diverse student populations.
Recently appointed by Judge Lindquist as Commissioner for the Sacramento County Superior Court for the Juvenile Justice System, Nadia plays a pivotal role in shaping juvenile justice policies that protect and support vulnerable youth. She was also selected as a member of Class XV of the esteemed Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program (NELP), where she is further developing her leadership skills to make an even greater impact in the region.
Nadia’s lifelong mission is to create inclusive environments where all young people can thrive, especially those at risk of falling through the cracks. Her dedication to developing and implementing strategies that prevent delinquency among youth is at the heart of her work, ensuring that young people have the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
